This bioreactor produces sound based on biochemical changes derived from a fermentation process inside. For this purpose, it uses sensors that determine the presence and condensation of certain types of gases, changes in pH and temperature. The signals of the sensors generate electronic sound variations (oscillations) with which the biochemical state of the fermentation can be heard. You can also visualize the different sensor data on a small OLED screen in real-time.<\/p>

La parte de cer\u00e1mica se trata de una tinaja globular achatada con dos asas a sus lados. Est\u00e1 esmaltada usando una\u00a0 t\u00e9cnica tradicional de cer\u00e1mica japonesa llamada Rak\u00fa cuyo resultado arroj\u00f3\u00a0tonalidades rojizas, grises y verdosas metalizadas que cambian con respecto al angulo de la luz.\u00a0Cuenta con tres orificios: uno principal de entrada en el centro donde se deposita el material org\u00e1nico y dos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os en sus asas laterales que facilitan\u00a0la condensaci\u00f3n de gases y la obtenci\u00f3n de muestras de su interior l\u00edquido, donde sucede la fermentaci\u00f3n. Las dem\u00e1s partes fueron dise\u00f1adas a trav\u00e9s de software y fabricado con t\u00e9cnicas digitales, ensamblando una estructura de piezas que combinan impresiones en 3D, piezas en corte l\u00e1ser, circuitos y componentes electr\u00f3nicos. Esta estructura se acopla a las asas y pone en contacto los sensores con el interior del biorreactor.\u00a0Las se\u00f1ales son captadas y procesadas por un microcontrolador, generando sonidos derivados de algoritmos de m\u00fasica generativa, y a trav\u00e9s de una salida de audio de 3.5mm, se puede escuchar. Usa 4 sensores de gases (alcohol, metano-gas natural, mon\u00f3xido de carborno e hidr\u00f3geno),\u00a0 un pHmetro y un sensor de temperatura.<\/p>
